Summary

The bill: amends 54 Acts to correct clerical and drafting errors; repeals 5 obsolete Acts; amends the

Tradesmen’s Rights Regulation Act 1946
to replace gender-specific language with gender-neutral language; amends the
Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918
to ensure the consistent use of the expression ‘ballot paper’; and amends 75 Acts to ensure the consistency of language used to describe the internet and internet-related technology.
